One of the main founders of KCCEC Mr. Abdul Aziz M.T Alghanim who also serves as the chairman for the organization. One of the first employees of KCCEC, Mr. Ali Al- Alamy is the managing director of the organization.

The company’s specializing features comprises of Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of medium to large size projects covering the fields of Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation & Controls, Telecommunications, Pipelines, Mechanical & Civil Works.

Initially KCCEC services were limited to installation, testing & commissioning of the instrumentation equipment to meet the growing requirements from the clients. Later on as a part of the expansion process, the operations changed which resulted in new and latest technology upgradation, telemetry system, telecommunication equipment, electrical distribution equipment and HVAC automation system.

After the Iraq invasion in 1990, KCCEC has supported enormously to re-build the country and successfully executed over 800 projects in the field of power generation, water production, sewage treatment, gas & petrochemical sector power generation, water production, and the sewage treatment fields, for both the public and private sector. After Kuwait Liberation in 1991 KCCEC was one of the first Companies to start its operations aiding the Kuwaiti Government in the provision of water and electricity services.

KCCEC began its operations as a supplier of process instrumentation equipment with KOC as one of its major client. The market’s growth was intensive and new services were in demand, therefore KCCEC added installation, testing and commissioning services to its operations. This enabled it to become a leading specialist contractor in industrial instrumentation and control systems.

With the fast expansion and growth of the company’s size, reputation, and experience the management decided to increase the company’s expertise regionally; therefore, it led to the establishment of the three branches in the Gulf Region. These branches were founded in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar.

Today KCCEC with its manpower of 5200 employees in the Gulf region, is recognized as a market leader in the Contracting Industry, having completed over 1200 Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Renovation, and Maintenance Projects in the region. KCCEC projects cover the fields of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Automation, Telecommunications, Pipelines, Mechanical & Civil works.

The recent Accomplishment of projects done by KCCEC includes Maintenance of Al- Zour Power Generation and Water Distillation Plants, Maintenance of Shuaiba Refinery, Construction of PlC Ammonia Export Pipeline, and the construction of Subiya Water Pipeline C2, C3.
